About us and our ideas

The Viveka Yoga Retreat Centre is a family "multinational" run centre. Jo, Sophie and their children Lucy and Boyan are welcoming you. We speak English, French and German. Lucy and Boyan have no problem in any of the languages (...!), Jo speaks better German and English and Sophie French and English.

The yoga classes are in English and French, during the meals we swing between the three languages !

Our main focus is to create an unspoiled yoga retreat based on holistic values.

Our deepest concern is to cherish the land for a self sustaining environment and lifestyle, both suitable for adults and children, using ancient yogic philosophy in its most practical approach.

In this way we hope to build a healthy and balanced respect and appreciation for the beautiful miracles of creation, as well as cultivating strong ethics and
values for our deeper selves.

We want to share our home, our experience and knowledge and our dedication on the path of yoga, create an interactive network for
all our visitors to ultimately help each other on the path toward the realisation of our divine souls.
